The cost accountant is responsible for conducting cost analyses and preparing budget reports, including a number of other tasks.
The accountant is responsible for collecting cost information, maintaining an expense database, building data accumulation systems, and determining the fixed costs of the organization, such as salaries, rent, insurance, and other various costs. The job requires excellent analytical skills, the ability to combine different data, calculate profit margins, and create detailed reports that provide effective solutions regarding the organization's costs.
